NMDC’s iron ore production fell marginally to 314.89 lakh tonnes in 2019-20 from 323.61 lakh tonnes in 2018-19, with sales too plummeting over 8 lakh tonnes on year. While average sales realisation on a per tonne basis slumped 1% to INR 3,671, domestic ore sales declined 7% on year. The company’s net EBITDA sunk by 15% to INR 6,427 crores.
