NLC India to auction 100,000 t of lignite on 24 Jan’23

NLC India Ltd will auction 100,000 t of raw lignite from Barsingsar mine in Bikaner, Rajasthan on 24 Jan’23. The material offered is of the GCV range of 2,800- 3,100-K.Cal/Kg with fixed carbon at 17-21%. Notably, the company’s lignite production in the first nine months of the ongoing fiscal FY’23 (Apr- Dec’22) is recorded at 17.75 mnt, up 7% y-o-y.
