Neelanchal Ispat Nigam Ltd has further reduced Pig iron offers by INR 900/MT post price cut in the last month by INR 800/MT (USD 12/MT).
Current offers for Steel grade Pig iron are assesed in the range of INR 17,500-17,900/MT (USD 260-270/MT) depends on quantity purchase. The company has increased discount on bulk purchase by INR 100/MT to INR 400/MT.

In this week Pig iron offers in secondary market also fell by upto INR 500/MT due to poor trade activities in domestic & global market. Current offers for steel grade are assessed at INR 20,500-20,600/MT ex-Raipur (central India), INR 17,600-17,800/MT ex-Durgapur, INR 18,000-18,200/MT ex-Rourkela (east India), INR 23,500/MT ex-Ludhiana (north India) and INR 20,500/MT Hyderabad (south India).
