NINL has opened a new price circular to sale billet in open market and reduced offers by INR 300-400/MT.
However in the last week, the company had opened its Pig iron offers with a price rise of INR 600/MT to INR 19,600/MT due to short availability of material.
Current offers for 150*150 mm billet are assessed at INR 22,600-22,700/MT. However in the last price circular, the company had offered 1,850 MT same size material at INR 23,000/MT ex-plant, which expired on 25 Apr’16.

In this month, secondary billet market has fluctuated by INR 300-500/MT due to poor rebar sales across India. Whereas, structure demand is strong, manufacturers reported.
Current offers for 100X100 mm, 125X125 mm billet are evaluated at INR 22,400/MT ex-Raipur, INR 21,700/MT ex-Rourkela/Cuttack, INR 22,800/MT ex-Durgapur and INR 24,400/MT ex-Mumbai.
