NINL, one of the prime LAM coke makers in India, is putting forth LAM coke at INR 11,500/MT, has lessened its price by INR 300/MT for the month.
MMTC in the interest of NINL, has glided a price circular for the present month in regards to offer of LAM coke on first-cum-first-serve basis. As per circular dated 9 Mar’16, buyers, who intending to buy LAM coke of upto 2,200 MT, will have the ability to procure the material at INR 11,500/MT, ex-NINL (advance payment; exclusive of duties and taxes). Along with this, NINL is offering the material at INR 11,300/MT, ex-NINL for the buyers opting quantity more than 22,00 MT. 
“It was anticipated that inching up imported coke prices will definitely lead indigenous coke costs to increase. However, this decrease in price from one of the important indigenous player is surprising as the greater part of the residential players were expecting price ascent of indigenous material because of increment of cess on Met coke”.
