Nepal’s rebar prices edged down by NPR 200/t ($1/t) w-o-w to NPR 71,500-73,500/t ($503-517/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 73,500-75,500/t ($517-532/t) for bank guarantee transactions. The decline was driven by weak demand, limited construction activity, and political instability, which dampened market sentiment. Meanwhile, wire rod (IF-EAF) offers inched up by $8/t w-o-w to around $461/t CNF Raxaul.
