Nepal’s rebar offers decreased by NPR 1,700/t ($12/t) w-o-w to NPR 78,500-79,500/t ($572-579/t) for cash guarantee sales and NPR 80,500-82,500/t ($586-601/t) for bank guarantee ones. Prices dropped amid slow demand ahead of the financial year closing. Wire rod offers were stable w-o-w at around $505/t CNF Raxaul, Nepal, for IF-EAF-route products, while offers for BF wire rods stood at $570/t CNF.
