Nepal: Billet imports rise by 41% m-o-m in Sep’20

During Sep’20, the billet imports in Nepal have reached 68,845 t, from 48,803 t in Aug’20 to register an m-o-m rise of 41.1%. India stood as the prominent billet exporter during the period. Since end-Jul’20, Indian mills had shifted their focus from the Ocean market amid better realization in Nepal and the domestic market.
