India: Neelachal Ispat cuts Billet Prices by INR 500/MT

Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) has reduced Billet prices by INR 500/MT (USD 8/MT). MMTC’s current offer for sale of about 17,500 MT Concast Billet is in the range of INR 24,500-24,700/MT (ex-Cuttack) in the domestic market, which is valid till 31 Mar, 2015.
Current Billet Offers

  1. 150×150 mm (9-12 mtrs) Billet is offered at INR 24,500/MT (ex-NINL plant)
  2. 150×150 mm (6 mtrs) Billet is offered at INR 24,700/MT (ex-NINL plant)

NINL’s Offers fall by INR 500/MT from Last Trade

Earlier, NINL had offered the same material i.e. Concast Billet (grade IS: 2830/2831) at around INR 25,000-25,200/MT (USD 403-406/MT) ex-plant. Now, the company has reduced the offer by INR 500/MT.

Vizag Steel’s Export Tender for Bloom/Billet fetches Bid higher by USD 10-15/MT

On the contrary, Vizag Steel, India’s one of the largest Bloom/Billet exporters, has received bids higher by USD 10-15/MT in its latest export tender. A deal of 80,000 MT Bloom was concluded at USD 370/MT and 5,000 MT Billet at USD 405/MT, FoB East Coast India.
