NMDC has supplied a total of 303 rakes (1.17 mn t) of iron ore from its Chhattisgarh mines in the month of Oct’20, up 10% m-o-m. The dispatches are higher against 276 rakes (1.06 mn t) in Sep’20, according to railway movement data maintained with SteelMint.
NMDC’s iron ore rake movement from its Chhattisgarh mines to state-based steel units has moved up 28% to 55 rakes (0.21 mn t) in Oct’20 compared to 43 rakes (0.17 mn t) a month ago, as per railway movement data maintained with SteelMint.
NMDC’s supplies to outside state-based units up in Oct’20:
The procurement by outside C.G based units picked for the month in Oct’20 to 205 rakes (about 0.79 mn t), against 198 rakes a month ago.
RINL’s total iron ore procurement stood at 131 rakes for the month as against 111 rakes a month ago.
JSW Steel, Dolvi procurement from NMDC reduced by 35% to 20 rakes as compared to 31 rakes in Sep’20.
Movement for exports increased 22% to 43 rakes in Oct’20 against 35 rakes in Sep’20.
