Firm finish long demand in North India kept MS Ingot price positive whereas mix sentiment seen in Central and South India. However price remain highly volatile due to regular change in raw material price. Scrap shortage in Mandi continue to remain along with high imported scrap cost. Sponge Iron price in central India also remain high due to Iron ore shortage.
MS Ingot price in Mandi gobindgarh is high by Rs 300/t W-o-W however price in Central India Raipur remain same. In west India, Mumbai price tumble down by Rs 500/t W-o-W as finish demand continue to remain under pressure and domestic scrap viability remain high over high imported scrap.
MS Ingot demand in South India remain low as price in Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore remain down by Rs 300/t or remain same over W-o-W
