Mongolia’s total coal production falls sharply y-o-y

Mongolian total coal production in Q1CY’22 has been recorded at 5.17 mnt, down 58% y-o-y and 30% q-o-q. Coking coal producer and exporter Mongolia Mining Company reduced production amid stricter customs clearance at the Ganqimaodu border because of COVID-19-related restrictions during the period.
