MOIL, India’s largest manganese ore miner, conducted auctions for 5,875t ferromanganese. The auctions received good response as the entire quantity was booked and Grade 68% and 70-72% Mn were booked at INR 65,200/t and INR 67,400/t respectively. Ferromanganese (70%) in Raipur is trading at INR 68,500/t ex-plant with prices having risen sharply on supply constraints.
