Manganese Ore (India) Limited (MOIL) conducted an e-auction for 1050t HC ferromanganese of different grades (63-72%) on 19th Mar ’21 from their Balaghat Plant. One lot for 1,000t of HC ferromanganese (70-72%) was booked close to the base price at INR 79,000/t. However, another lot of 50t of 63% grade was booked at the floor price of INR 67,100/t. MOIL increased the floor price by 18.9% from the previous auction in line with higher manganese alloys prices in the domestic market. The current price for ferromanganese 70% is at INR 84,000/t (HC 70%) ex-Raipur.
