NINL likely to announce prices for June deliveries; currently offering 22,000 MT concast billets through open tender in domestic market.
On behalf of NINL, MMTC has issued an open tender in order to sell 22,000 MT concast mild steel billets in domestic market. Last date of submission of bids will be 24 Jun’15.
The billet on sale, conforming to IS:2830:2012 grade, is manufactured by NINL. The dimensions of billet consist of 150X150 mm and 100X100 mm with size ranging between 6-12 meter. Also, dispatch of the material will be done through rakes (1 rake= approx 2,750 MT).
NINL is likely to announce its current offers for concast billet. NINL last offered billet at INR 24,500-24,700/MT in the month of May. Also, the company sold about 17,500 MT billet to Gobindgarh (MGG), Punjab, based traders at prices cheaper by INR 500-700/MT against secondary billet offers.
The last tender by NINL, held in the month of Apr’15 for sale of 11,000 MT billets in domestic market, was not able to fetch good response. Although the tender received bids, but it was not awarded due to lower bid prices.
