NINL will supply Concast billets to established re-rollers in North India to manufacture various grades of TMT Bars.
On behalf of NINL, MMTC intends to appoint Wet Leasing Agent (WLA) to process Concast Billets into TMT. The 100 mm sq. IS:2830:2012 grade Concast billets will be rolled into BIS:1786:2008 certified grades of TMT bar with diameter 8,10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 28 and 32 mm. It is a 3-year contract that can be extended for next 2 years.

Established re-rollers with valid BIS Certification in the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh are invited to give quotations for this tender. Also, tender applicants should have average minimum annual TMT conversion (with SAIL, TATA, RINL, JWS, JSPL) or own TMT manufacturing facility of atleast 75,000 MT in the past 3 preceding years.
Depending upon the demand in the market, at least 4 rakes (approx 2,750 MT each) should be converted. Tentative quantity for TMT to be produced is 11,000 MT/month. However, for the first month of Wet Lease Conversion, minimum 5,500 MT (approx 2 rakes) of Concast billet will be supplied by NINL.
Last date of submission of tender will be 30 Jun’15 at 16:30 hrs and technical bids will open on the 01 Jul’15 at 11: 00 hrs.
