Metal & Mineral Trading Corporation (MMTC), one of the major global players in the minerals trade and single largest exporter of minerals from India.
The company had invited interested overseas buyers for the purchase of 9,000 MT LS Chrome concentrate (56/54% Cr) of Indian origin through its export tender for October shipment.
The material has been offered by Tata Steel. Also, bidders should quote prices in USD/MT FOB Paradip Port basis.
The last date for submission of the tender will be 20 Sept’16 at 11.00 hrs and technical and price bid will open on the same day at 11.15 hrs and 16.00 hrs respectively.
Company withdraws the last tender for 10,000 MT Chrome ore export
Last export tender for 10,000 MT Friable Chrome ore (50/48% Cr) which got expired on 03 Aug’16 had been canceled by the company.
Indian Ferro Chrome producers were under pressure from protesting against re-imposed at 30% export duty on Chrome ore which was waived off in the 2017 Budget. This has severely impacted the Indian Chrome ore export market.
The last Indian Friable Chrome ore export tender was concluded in April’16 at USD 187/MT FOB Paradip Port.
