India’s leading trading house, MMTC has invited EOI (Expression of Interest) from manufacturers of iron ore pellets to exports through MMTC.
Objective of the EOI
On receipt of EOI from the bidders, MMTC will shortlist a panel of suppliers for supply of iron ore pellets. MMTC shall empanel the shortlisted bidders for supply of pellets for export inquiries.
Panel of suppliers would be drawn based upon the acceptable bids received in response to this EOI and such empanelled buyers shall be informed accordingly. However, Manufacturer /processors/suppliers who subsequently wish to be empanelled can submit all the prescribed documents and would be empanelled after having fulfilled the criteria. The panel will be valid for one year from date of opening of EOI.
Prospective suppliers who qualify as empanelled suppliers to MMTC would be individually notified after the evaluation process of empanelment is complete.
Corrigendum/addendum issued, if any, shall only be hoisted on MMTC website according to the notice.
Eligibility Criteria:
i) The applicant should be Manufacturers/Processors/Suppliers with requisite valid permits for Iron Ore Pellets, wherever applicable.
ii) The applicant should preferably be in possession (through lease or legally arranged) of a plot/godown at port of loading of appropriate size for converging/storage Iron Ore Pellets till shipment in case of FOR/FOB/CFR/CIF purchase by MMTC.
iii) The applicant should not have been blacklisted, debarred or banned by any central government or state government agency (ies) / organization (s) on the date of submission of EOI (format enclosed).
iv) In case the applicant is not a Manufacturer, then the applicant may submit document evidencing linkage with the Manufacturers/Suppliers (s) for regular supply of the required grade material.

In case the producer would like to supply Pellets of any other specification(s), same may also be indicated.
EOIs may be submitted in sealed cover to Addl. General Manager (Minerals), MMTC Limited, Alok Bharati Complex (7th Floor) Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar-751007, Odisha on or before 10.10.2017.
