MMTC Intends to Purchase 20,000 MT Imported Coking Coal

MMTC, India’s largest and state owned trading house, invited bidders for purchase of 20,000 MT imported washed hard coking coal at its integrated steel plant, M/s Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) Jajpur, Odisha. The company has also given a option to buy the additional quantity of 7,200 MT.

Delivery period: The entire cargo needs to be delivered by 6 Apr’16.

Validity of offer: The offer will be valid till 15 Apr’16, for acceptance by buyer.

Volatile matter: 22 to 26%
Ash (max): 8.9%
Sulphur (max): 0.60%
Crucible swelling number (min): 7.5
Vitrinite percentage (min): 50%
Vitrinite distribution (min): 80%

Eligibility criteria

1. Bidder needs to submit the self certification of copy of bill of lading of imports
2. A copy of the load port analysis report carried out by independent inspection agency of repute at lord port needs to be submitted
3. In case the material is within India, disport analysis report needs to be submitted
4. Copy of PAN card, VAT registration, Service tax registration and CST registration needs to be submitted
5. Bidder needs to provide local/registered office address with FAX /e-mail id/ telephone number
6. The deliveries shall be effected only by railway rakes to NINL Plant and the name of the loading station should be clearly specified in the bid
7. All the pages of the tender notice i.e. NIT, must be stamped and signed by the bidder and needs to be submitted with technical bid
