MMTC Concludes 15,000 MT Pig Iron Export Tender, Issues 3rd Fresh Tender

India’s largest trading house, MMTC has recently concluded an export tender for 15,000 MT Pig iron which closed on 02 Dec’16. The tender has been concluded at around USD 280/MT, FoB East Coast according to market sources.

MMTC floated this tender on 25 Nov’16 with scheduled delivery of the shipment between 20-30 Dec’16. According to sources, the company has managed to attract 2 participants. The highest bid received was around USD 280/MT and shipment is likely to ship to Bangladesh.

It is to be noted that, the company concluded the last export tender for 15,000 MT Pig iron at around USD 275-276/MT, FoB India . The tender was closed on 23 Nov’16 and delivery of the shipment is scheduled between 05-15 Dec’16.

Company issues another 30,000 MT Pig iron export tender

The company has recently issued another export tender for 30,000 MT Pig iron with scheduled technical bids to open on 15th Dec’16. The material is produced by Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL), Duburi, Odisha, India. It is to be noted that this is the 3rd back-to back export tender by MMTC.

Delivery basis: FOBST Paradip Port
