Mills in eastern India conclude nearly 7,500 t sponge iron export deals

Deals for two rakes of 5,000 t iron ore based-DRI (CDRI) were concluded at $425-430/t LTW – Odisha, eastern India, equivalent to $445-450/t CPT Nepal.
Also, a rake of 2,500 t of PDRI deals was confirmed at $405/t LTW from Odisha belt, equivalent to $425 CPT Nepal.
After these latest deals, SteelMint’s price assessment increased by $15/t to $445-450/t CPT Nepal for FeM 80% sponge iron (lumps 70%, fines 30%).
