Market awaits Kanto scrap export tender results

Japan’s monthly Kanto Tetsugen scrap export tender is scheduled on 10th Dec’20, sources have reported to SteelMint. Nearly 20,000 t of Japanese H2 scrap is auctioned via Kanto export tender every month and serves as a benchmark for the Japanese scrap export market. SteelMint’s price assessment for Japanese H2 scrap export stands at JPY 34,000/t FoB, up by JPY 3,000 ($29) w-o-w.
