Pertama Ferroalloys (PFA), a Malaysian ferro alloy manufacturer, is going to increase ferro silicon production capacity by 1.7 times. Currently, the company produces 60,000 t of ferro silicon and 150,000 t of silico manganese per year. Upon selecting the engine, the company plans to build a 100,000 t (actual capacity) system with five units. The increasing capacity will increase supply capacity to Japan.
