- OM Holdings, Sarawak, a Malaysia-based ferro alloys producer, reported 7.4% q-o-q decrease in ferro silicon production in Q4CY’22 due to the shutdown of furnaces in early-Nov’22 for major maintenance.
- Output of manganese alloys and sintered manganese ore fell by 23.2% and 25%, q-o-q respectively, in Q4 as four furnaces were under maintenance since Q3, resulting in a loss of 117 operating days (or 23.7%).
