• Gauge parity revision improves margins for mills

Jalna (Maharashtra) one of the major rebar-producing hub in the western region of the country, with around 6 mnt of rebar capacity, has revised diameter-wise price differentials by INR 500/t, effective 19 October 2026. The revision in gauge parity is expected to improve margins for mills on sales of smaller and larger diameter rebar sizes.

Revised diameter differentials:

• 10-25 mm: INR 6,000/t
• 8 mm: INR 7,000/t
• 32 mm: INR 7,000/t

The revised pricing structure will apply to transactions from 19 October 2026 onward and is expected to be reflected in Jalna IF rebar offers and transaction levels.
