L&T wins orders to build advanced grid systems

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Power Transmission & Distribution vertical has secured new orders in the Middle East. Order details:

• Saudi Arabia: The company will establish 500kV HVDC transmission links and build 380kV overhead transmission lines and a gas insulated substation.
• Abu Dhabi: The company will construct two major 400kV gas insulated substations with advanced systems to enhance the power grid’s capacity and reliability.
