IF rebar prices witnessed a correction today of INR 500-1,500/t across regions except in western India. Lack of buying enquiries and lower transactions in the spot market pulled prices down. Sharp correction in sponge iron and billet prices resulted limited booking of rebar steel in the market. However, manufacturers are offering tradable discounts as per previous booking orders and payment terms.
