London Metal Exchange urges companies to participate in sanctions on Russia

The London Metal Exchange (LME) has ordered its companies to suspend payments to individuals/companies subject to sanctions against Russia on 25 Feb’22. The USA, the UK and the EU have announced additional sanctions on Russia. LME would also impose sanctions, if necessary. Meanwhile, LME excluded Russia’s Rusal from the list of approved companies in 2018 due to American sanctions against Russia.
