Aluminium futures on the London Metal Exchange (LME) gained by 2.67% or $3,265 on 18 Feb’22 as against $3,180 on 11 Feb mainly on diminishing inventory levels by 2.96% to record at 849,275 t against 875,250 t the previous week. Premium aluminium ingot prices were increased by the primary producers this week amid bullish sentiments in the market.
