Light Structure mills based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh (Central India) have increased the gauge parity for Angle by INR 200/MT.
A group of 50 small mill owners located in Raipur have adopted a new gauge parity for Light Angle dimension w.e.f 13 Apr’15 because of low production, material shortage and high input cost.
A mill owner located in Raipur urged, “Demand for Light Structure has improved in the domestic market. Moreover, the production of the material has been reduced compared to Heavy Structure because of high input cost. Thus, the mill owners have decided today to raise the gauge parity slightly by INR 200/MT.”
