Korea Southern Power Co. Ltd (KOSPO) has invited bids to procure 160,000 t of thermal coal of 3,800-4,999 kcal/kg NAR, a tender notification showed. The bid closing date has been set on 2 June at 14:00 Korean Standard Time (KST). The firm has directed bidders to supply coal entirely from a single mine company having the latest annual production record of minimum 3 mnt with specified quality. The supply of coal for any shipment from more than one mine will not be allowed.
