Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has published a tender for purchase of steam coal of quantity 480,000 MT for Korean Genco’s Power Plants.
Each bidder is requested to offer 240,000MT per year in lots of 80,000MT on FOB price. Deliveries of coal shall begin from October 2019 and shall continue thereafter for a period of three (3) years until December 2021.

The offer given by the bidder shall be valid for the period 03 days from the date of tender closing. Although if necessary KOSPO can request the bidder to extend the validity period of the bid.
Due date: The due date for bid submission is 21 Aug’19 at 13:00 hrs (Korean Standard Time). The last tender of KOSPO was of 160,000 MT for Korean Genco’s Power Plants, South Korea which was scheduled on 14 Aug 2019.
