Korea: KOSPO Invites Tender for Purchase of 276,000 MT Non Coking Coal

Korea Southern Power Co Ltd (KOSPO) has invited a tender for purchase of 276,000 MT non-coking coal for its Hadong Power Plants, South Korea. The bid price should be on FoB basis. The loading of the coal is scheduled on June’16.

The offer will be valid for the period of 3 business days from the date of tender closing. KOSPO can request the bidder to extend validity period of bid, if necessary.

Total moisture (As received basis): Max 15%
Fixed carbon (Air dried basis): Max 60%
Ash (Air dried basis): Max 17%
Net calorific value (As received basis): Min 5,700 kcal/kg
Ash fusion temperature: Min 1,200°C

Note: Russian mines coals are not accepted.

Due date

The bid document should arrive before 14:00 hrs on 12 Apr’16 (Korean Standard Time).
