Korea Midland Power Company Limited (KOMIPO) has published a tender for purchase of 80,000 MT anthracite coal for its Seocheon Power Plant, Korea.
Interested bidders can quote the prices on FoB or CFR basis and the delivery of the material is scheduled on Sept’16.
The offer will be valid for the period of 5 days from the date of tender closing. KOMIPO can request the bidder to extend validity period of bid, if necessary.
Specification
Total moisture (As received basis): max 15%
Ash (Air dried basis): Max 45%
Net calorific value (As received basis): min 4,600 kcal/kg to max 6,000 kcal/kg
Ash fusion temperature: Min 1,250°C
Note: Only single shipment is required.
The bid document should arrive before 14:00 hrs on 30 Jun’16 (Korean Standard Time).
KOMIPO’s last tender for 780,000 MT bituminious coal receives good response
KOMIPO’s last tender of 780,000 MT bituminous coal which was closed on 24 Jun’16, had received good response from bidders.
The company purchased 4 lots of 125,000 MT each Australian coal with the first two shipment scheduled between Aug’16 to Sept’16 and the other two scheduled in Q3 and Q4 of 2016. The total 500,000 MT coal has been purchased from the company M/s Macquarie at mid-USD55/MT,FoB.
The company also purchased 280,000 MT coal for Q3 and Q4 of 2016 in which 140,000 MT of coal from Indonesia and the remaining from Russia. The 140,000 MT purchased from STX Corp. and remaining 140,000 MT from Samsung C&T Corp. at around USD 44/M, FoB respectively
