Korea East-West Power Co. Ltd (EWP), having its head office in Ulsan, Korea,
issues two tender for purchase of 40,000 MT Anthracite Coal and 60,000 MT Steaming Coal respectively.
This week EWP showing trends to increase its Coal import by issuing three tenders for import, bituminous coal of 3.57 MnT (due on 3rd Aug’17), anthracite coal of 40,000 MT and steaming coal of 60,000 MT (both due on 4th Aug’17).

Note: For Anthracite Coal, Chinese and North Korean Coals are not allowed and if the origin of coal is non-Australia, non-Vietnam, non-South Africa or non-Russia, Bidding Quantity is limited to offer Max 20,000MT.
Validity: The Bid including the price shall be bound as a firm offer and valid for a period of at least twenty (20) calendar days in case of anthracite coal and at least fifteen (15) calendar days for steaming coal after the bidding closing date. EWP may request the Bidder to extend the validity period of the Bid, if necessary.
Due date:
The due date of submitting for both tender document is 4th Aug’17 up to 11:00 hrs (Korean Standard Time).
