Following the suite, two more merchant miners in Odisha have slashed iron ore prices. KJS Ahluwalia & Kaypee Enterprises have cut prices by upto INR 250/MT.
Weak demand of semi finished steel products has kept domestic iron ore prices under pressure. Sponge iron (C-DRI) prices in Rourkela have fallen by INR 400/MT M-o-M. Owing to this Odisha lump prices have also fallen by INR 400-450/MT M-o-M.
