KIOCL Ltd, a wholly owned Govt. of India enterprise has invited a tender for purchase of 30,000 MT low ash metallurgical coke for use in its blast furnace unit at Mangalore.
KIOCL ltd, invited bid through an open tender from the reputed firm for supply of 30,000 MT LAM coke on “total delivered cost basis”. Interested bidders can submit the bid till 4th Sep’17.
The company shall also conduct the online competitive price bidding cum reverse auction before opening of price bid.
After completing the reverse auction and price bid opening, successful bidders needs to start supply within 30 days from the date of purchase order or as regulated depending on consumption on weekly basis.
The offer submitted by the bidders will be valid for 20 days from the date of techno-commercial opening.

The contract period is of 6 months from the date of tender award. However, the validity period of contract can be extended for further period with mutual consent at same price and terms & conditions.
Tender schedule (IST):
Due date for bid submission is 4th Sep’17 at 14:00 hrs and the techno-commercial opening is on same day at 15:00 hrs
