State-owned, KIOCL invites tender for supply of 50,000 DMT Iron Ore Concentrate – Hematite from reputed Indigenous Iron ore Suppliers.
Iron ore procured will be used at Mangalore-based pellet plant.
Interested parties are asked to quote prices only in INR on CFR, New Mangalore port, India basis, including all taxes and statutory levies as applicable and freight charges, except GST.
The offer validity is for 30 days from the date of techno-commercial opening.

KIOCL’s iron ore sourcing from NMDC, Chhattisgarh fell significantly in October – KIOCL procured 22 iron ore rakes from NMDC (C.G.) in Oct’17 compared to 47 rakes in Sept’17. Prime reason behind fall in dispatches was disruption of railway line connecting Andhra Pradesh.
KIOCL has sharply raised its pellet exports this fiscal. According to customs data maintained with SteelMint, KIOCL has exported 0.76 MnT pellets (Apr-Oct’17) and has by far remained the 3rd largest Indian pellet exporter after JSPL and BRPL.
