Vedanta Ltd auctioned 12,000 t of iron ore lumps from its mines in Karnataka on 23 Jul’25. Only 4,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 53.25%) were booked at INR 2,500/t (base price) ex-mines. Prices are exclusive of taxes. Additionally, another auction is scheduled for 28 Jul, featuring 8,000 t of lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 52.75%).
