Bellary’s pellet (Fe 63%) prices increased by INR 150/t ($2/t) to INR 10,100/t ($120/t) ex-works today compared to 1 October. Deals totalling 43,000 t concluded at increased offers of INR 9,800-10,200/t ($119-121/t). Active buying post-monsoon and rising NMDC prices contributed to the increase in raw material prices in the region. Meanwhile, sponge iron PDRI prices surged by INR 1,600/t ($19/t) to INR 27,800/t ($331/t) w-o-w, ex-works.
