Bellary’s pellet (Fe63%) prices remained stable at INR 9,400/t ($112/t) exw on 6 Sep’24 compared to 3 Sep. Deals of around 23,000 t were recorded at INR 9,350-9,550/t ($111-114/t). Steelmakers purchased on need basis at current prices, and pellet offers remained supportive despite a drop in sponge and finished steel prices. Meanwhile, sponge iron (P-DRI) prices decreased by INR 450/t w-o-w to INR 25,300/t exw today.
