Bellary’s pellet (Fe63%) prices remained stable at INR 9,400/t ($112/t) exw on 10 Sep’24 compared to 6 Sep. Deals of around 27,000 t were recorded at INR 9,350-9,500/t ($111-113/t). Trade in the region remained steady. Some plants are holding off on new sales to complete previous orders. However, sponge iron prices dropped by INR 400/t ($5/t) w-o-w to INR 25,200/t ($300/t) ex-works today.
