Bellary’s pellet (Fe63%) prices remained stable at INR 9,400/t ($112/t) exw on 13 Sep’24 compared to 10 Sep. Deals of 24,000 t were concluded at INR 9,350-9,400/t ($111-112/t). Buyers purchased quantities on a need basis at current prices as sellers prepare for a maintenance shutdown over the next two weeks. Sponge iron prices fell by INR 300/t ($4/t) w-o-w to INR 25,000/t ($298/t) exw today.
