Karnataka Iron ore e-Auction on 5th June, 60% ROM sold on floor price 

Mines based in the states of Karnataka had offered 220,000 MT of Iron ore (ROM, Iron ore fines, Iron ore lumps) through e-auction on 5^th, June 2013 at 13:25 IST. Number of Bids placed 51 Out of which number of bidders 8 and number of winners 7.

Total Percentage increase over the floor price is about 1.03%. Out of 204,000 MT ROM Offered 56000 MT was not sold 60% of ROM was sold at floor price. Lumps show a good hike in the booking price against floor price i.e. about 8%.
