Karnataka has recorded its total iron ore dispatches at 34.09 mn t in FY’21, as per the data available with SteelMint. Out of which, Karnataka-based mines remained the leading purchaser of iron ore at 30.81 mn t for the fiscal year FY’21. Andhra Pradesh recorded the second-highest iron ore purchase at 1.11 mn t, followed by Tamil Nadu at 0.60 mn t and Goa at 0.53 mn t.
