Karnataka Iron Ore Block Auctions Phase IV – 14 Companies in Race

Department of Mines and Geology (Govt. of Karnataka) had invited the tender for auctioning of 4 iron ore blocks in Karnataka for its 4th phase.

Bid due date for Technical round was on 05 Jul’19. Subsequently, after evaluation of technical bids submitted by the bidders total 14 companies were declared as technically qualified bidders on 15th July 2019. Major participants include JSW Steel, Vedanta, Kirloskar, Kalyani Steels, MSPL, Minera, etc.

As per the report published by Karnataka Govt. has invited final bids for iron ore mines e-auction is scheduled on 24th July 2019. Following which upfront payment of first installment (10%) submission date by the preferred bidder is till 7th Aug 2019.
