Major South India-based sponge iron manufacturer BMM Ispat has hiked offers for Pellet based sponge iron (P-DRI) by INR 1000/t to INR 19,500/t, ex-Bellary, SteelMint has learned from sources. The hike comes in the wake of strong demand and rising iron ore and pellet prices. BMM is the largest merchant seller of sponge iron in southern India.
