JSW Steel Ltd saw a growth in its production of steel by 39
percent in January this year. Its steel production was 8.05 lakh tons
in January this year which was 5.80 lakh tons for the same month last year.
The production of Rolled Products-Flat has increased by 29% last
month, which was 5.95 lakh tons last month as compared to 4.62 lakh tons for
January last year.
Its Rolled Products-Long capacity went up by 65 percent, the
output being 1.51 lakh tons in January this year as against 0.91 lakh tons in the month of January 2011.
