JSW Steel increases capacity utilization to 96% in Jan ’21

JSW Steel has increased its capacity utilization to 96% in Jan ’21. On an annual basis, the production of crude steel and rolled long products were up by 2% at 1.43 mn t and 5% at 0.36 mn t respectively. However, rolled flat products went down by 1% y-o-y to 1.01 mn t. Improved demand from infra and construction projects along with auto and white goods propelled the mill to ramp up its production.
