JSW Steel – India’s largest steel maker achieved 26% Y-o-Y growth in its crude steel output in FY17 with output of 15.8 MnT. The steel maker achieved 100% production guidance laid in the last fiscal. The company has three plants located in Vijayanagar, Dolvi and Salem and has a total crude steel making capacity of 18 MnT pa.
The company in its today’s press release declared that its crude steel production has moved up to 1.288 MnT in Apr’17, up by 7% against Apr’16. The steel maker’s crude steel output in Apr’16 was recorded at 1.203 MnT.
However on monthly basis, company’s crude steel output has declined of 11% in Apr’17. In Mar’17, it achieved highest ever monthly crude steel output of 1.45 MnT.
JSW Steel’s flat steel production down, long steel production up in Apr’17
On monthly premises, JSW Steel’s flat steel production has gone down by 11% M-o-M while flat steel production has increased by 10% M-o-M in Apr’17.
Company’s flat steel production grew 5% Y-o-Y and long steel production increased 12% Y-o-Y in Feb’17.
